 Everything seems to be peaceful throughout the world of the Great Five Nations. Akatsuki has fallen apart; the remaining members, Pein, Konan, Zetsu, Itachi, and Kisame, have scattered, no one has heard or seen anything from them. The host of the Kyuubi, Uzumaki Naruto, is well on his way of becoming one of the strongest ninja in Konoha and possibly Hokage.
Though all is not well with one of the lord’s sons. He seems different; he has become quiet and isolated from everyone else. Everyone who he loved has betrayed him, turned away from him. He is murdered without hesitation by ninja from another village. His vengeful spirit begins to walk the earth, looking for a way to come back and seek revenge. He finds that one man. The spirit of the son is surprised that the man can see and talk to him, they agree to work together. The man wants to rule the world, take it as his, as he believes it is his own. The man soon becomes a demon and starts resurrection ninja who have been killed.
The Akatsuki members become aware of this; they have seen members that they have lost. They quickly reunite and begin to seek new members. They figure they have no choice but to ally themselves with the villages, for this man is no ally to the Akatsuki, and the destruction he wants will put an end to everything, giving Akatsuki no purpose and leaving many ninja dead.
