Appearance: Isai has dark brown hair that spikes about a bit randomly. He hardly ever messes with if more than washing and combing it out, since he doesn’t see any use in trying to tame it. His eyes are narrow and blue. His body frame is lean, but still muscular. He’s tall, being 6’10”, still he could be mistaken for a high school student if you don’t look properly. (though if you do look properly, it’s obvious he’s not) He wears a white button-up and slacks, and circular purple sunglasses.
Personality: Isai has a very self-serving personality. If he was asked who the person he cared about most was, he’d say it was himself. When ever he does something it’s to his own benefit. Not only that but he seems to be very hard on others. The only thing is, he doesn’t show it. To the students and faculty he’s like an idol. He helps the students patiently, and always encouraged them to achieve more (even though he really thinks they’re all idiots). He does this since he believes it will eventually will lead to a promotion. He honestly wouldn’t be a teacher if he had a choice between something better.
The only way you can find his true nature is if you catch him off guard or when he doesn’t think anyone’s looking.
Skills/Weaknesses: His skills include being very intelligent and calculating. He has a very logical mind and is very well read. He can also wheedle benefits out of almost everything. As a weakness he doesn’t feel much about others. He has a hard time thinking about others as friends (or people). He also can’t stand stupid riddles, that don’t make any real sense. He’s also addicted to cigarettes (the Kretek clove ones NOT the tobacco ones).
History
Birthplace: From the Chubu region of Japan. City: Kanazawa
History: Isai was born, unhappily, into the scenic city of Kanazawa. He was naturally extremely intelligent, to the point where he would be too bored to do his work and his teachers would worry. The only thing was, when he actually did do his work, his classmates would resent him for getting such good grades and all the praise. It was during these young years that he came to the conclusion that all other people were idiots.
Once he got into junior high grade levels he began doing things right. He did all his work and made great grades, only neglecting to tell anyone. Even then though, he didn’t care about them. He’d slack off in class, and do most of the work quickly but precisely. His teachers didn’t like him since he didn’t have good work ethic. Once his teacher offered a candy prize to the ‘best student’. Isai figured it would be himself, but he was skipped over because of his attitude. The next year he changed completely, he became nice and helpful. He became the star pupil easily and won the prize at the end by a long shot. This taught him that he could manipulate people, and also reinforced that people were idiots.
Through high school and college he kept this up, being able to get pretty much whatever he wanted this way, all the while fooling everyone into thinking he was a good person. He went to a prestigious college because of his grades, but he didn’t know what he wanted to do. He took a multitude of classes, until he ended up taking the teacher’s exam. He passed with flying colors, and became a teacher (mostly as a fluke). Since he couldn’t think of anything else to do, and he figured he’d hate that less than some other things, he decided to go with it. After a few years of assistant teaching, he was hired at endeared, though he doesn’t actually know by whom.

Role Play Sample: “Professor Sagi!” There were a couple of girls calling him, he recognized them from his seventh period. He cursed under his breath before they were close enough to hear. Little brats! Don’t they think I have better things to do on my off period then answer their questions?! He turned around, a cheerful smile across his face that made one of the girls blush. He’d noticed that one had developed a sort of crush on him. Idiotic girl. “What can I help you with ladies?”
It was an assignment he’d given out last class. They were having trouble figuring out the theme, as if it wasn’t blatantly obvious throughout the entire novel. Still he walked them through it, knowing with a bit of resentment that he was practically thinking for them.
“Wow! I see! I can’t believe I didn’t get it earlier! I can be a bit slow sometimes.” One of the girls laughed, lightly, seemingly a bit embarrassed. Oh how he wanted to say ‘more than a bit’, or ‘not only sometimes’, but he knew that wouldn’t go over well. So, instead his smile softened and he looked at the girls over his purple sunglasses. “Don’t be so hard on yourself. It’s more important to believe in yourself than to just have good marks, right?”
The girls bought it instantly, and all smiled at him in appreciation. He smiled back and waved them off to lunch before turning around. He grit his teeth and reached into his bag to pull out one long black cigarette. “Stupid brats.” He muttered, with his lips already around the end, his hands busy lighting the tip with a blue lighter. The scent of cloves became more and more prominent, and he hurried toward the nearest door. It would be difficult if he was caught smoking in the school.
