He had been acquainted to a couple of the mistresses and professors at Endeared Academy. It was a grand place. Very fancy, and the cuisine was absolutely to die for. Hikari couldn't imagine anyone who'd dislike their stay in this educational institution. "I really do hope that I make some friends..." Back in Cheshire, he had friends. In fact, he had a lot that it was sort of difficult to recount all of their names. Still, those 'friends' back home only talked to him because of his perfect streak at cricket. It wasn't a huge accomplishment; they just liked rubbing their charm with someone athletic. That was exactly why Hikari Winter felt the need for a true friend. Someone who would treat him equally as an individual and would like him for who he actually was.
"Hmm.. Let's see here. Aha! By golly, I've got it! Making his way over to the desk located inside his room, he grabbed some parchment and pen to begin writing several letters. He would send these out like 'flyers' and see who would be interested to gather in front of the cafeteria.
And so, after an hour of writing, he had finally completed everything. The arrangements were set and he posted up the flyers across the school website and through the various corridors. Hopefully, at least someone would catch sight of them.
That night, he scanned the letter before dozing off to sleep. Honestly, he was quite impressed by his handiwork. Instantly, he began to read it aloud to himself.
"Dear Students and Faculty of Endeared Academy, I am new. I just wanted to set up a creative way to get to know everybody. So far, I have enjoyed my stay here. This place is extraordinary. I hope I get to stay here for a very, long time. So instead of boasting on about the glory that is Endeared Academy, I just want to rush into the meeting place. I was hoping that we could all meet some time tomorrow in the cafeteria by 12:00 P.M. at the least.
Thanks again, Hikari winter ~_^."
Soon, he grew weary and finally went to sleep...
Tick.. Tock* tick.. tock* His alarm clock activated at 11:00 P.M. Exactly one hour before the meeting... He was the host and he was almost running late. What would the others think if he arrived so tardy? They would think that Hikari was a liar of course. Cursing himself at his stupidity, Hikari exchanged his nightwear to his school uniform. Then, he combed his hair and brushed his teeth for another good few minutes. Finally, he stared into the mirror to admire himself. Returning back to reality afterwards, Riu bolted out his dorm door and made his way towards the cafeteria.
Fortunately, upon arrival to the cafeteria, no one else had arrived. He looked down at his platinum wrist watch and it read: 12:30 P.M. Had anyone seen the flyers? Was his idea for a nice talk just a waste? Did anyone even care to meet the others? He felt gloomy... Sighing, he stuck his hands in his pockets and stood there gazing ahead. Surely, someone would arrive. Oh what was he thinking, he did all that blasted work for nothing!
Hikari was clearly in denial..

When she first saw the poster, Fuji was decidedly amused.
The girl herself personally was unsure of just what made the flyer somewhat amusing to her -- but there she was, chuckling softly under her breath, the dulcet caress of her voice drifting along the empty corridor gently. Then again, given her nature and personality, it was just like Fuji to find something completely unamusing humorous. Slender fingers traced along the name written along the bottom of the 'letter-like' flyer, and Fuji gazed at the name with a questioning glint in her steel-gray eyes, puzzled by the unusual name.
Nonetheless, 'Hikari' sounded familiar -- Japanese, definitely. Perhaps, through some fortunate twist of fate, there would be some feeling of familiarity here, amongst all this... unfamiliarity. In spite of her naturally cunning nature, her mind took an incredibly long time to adjust to great changes. Being in this foreign country without much to remind her of home was rather... unsettling. Catching wind of a Japanese name -- much like her own -- comforted her on some deep level, even though she neglected to let it show.
Absently brushing several locks of brown hair out of her face, tucking said strands behind an ear, Fuji peered at the flyer once again. "Twelve? That's only in several minutes." She considered the prospect of going, and soon enough, she found herself shrugging. "Well, why not. I do wonder who this 'Hikari' is," the petite female murmured, turning on her heel and heading in the general direction of the cafeteria.
Having passed by the particular room earlier in her exploration of the school campus, Fujiko faintly recalled the location of the caefeteria -- which was now her current destination. Out of sheer habit, the female smoothed out the mildly wrinkled folds of her school uniform, letting her fingers straighten out both top and skirt carefully, before proceeding on, gliding quietly through the hallway with the practiced ease of one who frequently remained silent. Idly, she hummed a soft melody under her breath, letting the sound fill the silence that filled the atmosphere in a halfhearted attempt and making it less quiet, for once. Upon reaching her destination -- the cafeteria, as mentioned -- the fourteen-year-old stopped before the door.
Ivory digits found themselves turning the knob. Fuji pushed the door open almost cautiously, stepping in to peer around. To her surprise (and amusement), the room was quite... empty. Steel-gray eyes restlessly scanned the area, taking in the surroundings with a calculating quality. "Hmm? It seems like it's rather empty, considering the number of flyers around the school..." Letting a hand rest against a wall to her left, Fuji tilted her head to side slightly, an inquisitive expression on her heart-shaped face. For once, she was being careless, shown by the point that she obviously did not notice the other student standing nearby. [/blockquote]

Man, oh, man! What a loser! Was this guy really that pathetic? Wanting to make friends and hanging up flyers everywhere?! Man, oh, man! Was this guy c r a z y? Who would really show up for something like..like...like that? Pathetic. Everyone would ignore the flyer, right? No one cared for some loser who wanted to make friends..but, then again, before he knew it, he had taken the flyer down from the wall and was reading it over and over, not realizing where his feet were taking him this time of night.
Tired but up, he had been walking the halls, bored as hell. He hadn't seen who his new roommate was yet and would probably find that out after he figured out he was nearing the cafeteria.....which just that alone might take him a while.
Alright, so, he was now curious to know how many people would show up and what kind of guy this truly was. Besides, nothing wrong with making new friends, right? So, stood in front of the cafeteria doors. Staring at them widely, he grinned and opened them. What a sight..
Only one person? Was there another he did not see? Looking over, he still saw only one. A girl leaning on the wall, bored from the looks of it. He walked down the stairs and stood in front of her. "Hey, you awake?" he asked, still grinning. But, was this girl in front of him the one that posted the flyers that he held in his hand? Then, he turned around and noticed the person he didn't see before. Was the girl or this guy the one that posted the flyers everywhere?
Now, maybe, with just the 3 of them, would this be interesting.

He heard footsteps drawing closer. By the sounds of it, this newcomer was a female. That was actually bright news, it would not be a problem to have her company around. At first sight, she seemed to ignore his presence. She probably wasn't interested in him or she was blind? Hikari stood there in silence, but then he attempted to break the ice. "Why hello there. I'm Winter, Hikari. This is going to be my first year at Endeared Academy. Nice to meet you!" After saying that, he cursed himself. He had to admit that was a bit dorky, but still, it was the truth.
It seemed that she had brown hair in the bright light casted onto the cafeteria, but he never knew that she actually possessed hair with a reddish brownish hue. She was thin, and had slender shoulders. He was easily attracted to this girl who was probably around his age. She seemed different somehow; there was a certain aura about her; Hikari was not capable of describing it.
"I am the one who sent that flyer if you're wondering," His conciense told him that he was speaking too quickly and changing the conversation drastically, so he stopped speaking and anticipated for a reply.
Before the girl could answer, a male entered the courtyard. This boy had a bright smile on his face, and was most likely shorter than the average height for his age. The most shocking feature that set him apart from others was his long, blonde hair that covered his teal eyes. Hikari didn't respond to this newcomer because the boy most likely overheard Hikari introducing himself to the girl.

Fujiko had stood there in silence until a boy entered her range of sight. From the looks of it, he was around her age, but oddly enough, he had a head of blue, wavy hair. Was it natural, or were her eyes deceiving her? Or, perhaps he was one of those unusual individuals who enjoyed dyeing their hair different colors? That would've been an interesting prospect. Weird, unusual people were always so fun to be around. Even she went out of her way to be weird. And that adjective -- weird -- was always a compliment. Always. She took pride in her weirdness, when it did decide to show itself.
"Mizota Fujiko. A pleasure to make your aquaintance, Winter-san. This is my first year as well." Toying with a lock of her hair, she smiled softly at what Hikari had said -- at least he sounded earnest and honest, unlike many people who kept facades and masks up constantly. Like myself, she mused to herself, hating the inexplicable pang of emotion that rose in her heart -- and she couldn't even identify what emotion it was, at that. "Ah, the flyer? Heeh, I see. You're pretty interesting. I haven't run into people who post up flyers to meet new people when they first get to new schools yet." There was a playful, amused quality to her tone as she spoke, shaking several strands of her silken hair out of her face and restlessly playing with the fabric of her skirt. Before she could say anything else, another person entered. Tilting her head slightly with a mildly amused expression, she murmured, "Of course. Did I look like I was sleeping?" A slender eyebrow arched slightly in question, but the slight curve of her lips belied her amusement. Her words were blunt, but said with a rather playful tone that nullified the bite in them. "You, my friend, need your eyes checked. Another smile. Speaking of eyes... she paused to scrutinize the newcomer's eyes. Blue. Her favorite color. How nice.[/blockquote]

Listening to both speak, he felt a bit guilty for not noticing the other boy. Just by the reaction of the chick and the way the guy acted, he could tell he was the one to hang the flyers. Plus, it was obvious when he said it outloud...That had to be the biggest hint given to Ethan. He lightly saluted him with two fingers, still grinning all the way. "Ello!" he said toward Hikari.
Grinning at the girl he saluted her too. "Oh, come on! It was a joke! But, you do look half dead, leaning on the wall there! Get up and become more lively!" He took a few steps and then walked around this Hakari Winter guy. Would he be able to get along with him? Was he a total loser like he originally thought? Or was he some awesome, cool, sweet guy who he could watch porn with?! Alright, well, maybe he wouldn't watch porn with him, and Ethan himself never even watched porn, but it'd be a fun joke!
Well, not so fun in front of Fujiko, of course.
He looked at the ceiling and then back at the two, taking a seat on a cafeteria chair. "We should all sit, don't ya think?" Ethan was as cheerful as ever and wide awake. He was in a great mood for communicating with others. All he needed was a soccerball and he'd be playing soccer in the cafeteria.
{sorry for shortness}

"Hey, what's your name dude?" Before, he could get an answer, the guy sat down and asked them to join him. "Sure," Hikari replied taking a seat across from the other male. He winked at Fujiko-chan and motioned for her to take a seat by him on a vacant seat. This probably made her uncomfortable, so he wouldn't be surprised if he got slapped or anything. "So, where are you two originally from? What hobbies do you like?" A small silence hang over the atmosphere, and Hikari decided to break it, "Well, I think I should start off first. Lets see.. I'm from Cheshire, England. I'm part Japanese from my mother's side and English from my father's side. I like playing football or also known as soccer. I especially like hanging out with friends. i'm outgoing and sometimes I never know when to stop talking," Hikari caught himself and stopped speaking anticipating an answer from the other two.
"I apologize if I've said a mouthful," Hikari admitted. He stared at the two wondering what their reactions would be and what their answers would be to his questions.

Unable to resist chuckling, Fujiko was unable to stop her lips from quirking into some semblance of a contented smile, and she covered her mouth halfheartedly with two of her fingers to stifle the giggles. She returned the blond's grin and salute willingly, shifting her hand against her temple and tense her slender fingers until they were suitably stiff.
"Oh, hush, you," she chided, easily replacing her grin with a half-pout that wasn't quite a pout at all -- more like a childish frown, of sorts, but with her lower lip jutting out ever so slightly. Fuji swatted at the general direction of his head, taking care to make sure she didn't actually hit him -- her fingers shifted to and fro in the air in front of his face. "And y'know, technically, I am up," the female replied smugly. "And you are just too lively, weirdo. I am perfectly lively, thank you very much."
Upon hearing said 'weirdo' invite them to sit down, and catching Hikari's unsubtle wink with an quizzical, arched eyebrow, Fuji murmured a "sure" before gracefully seating herself next to Hikari, the strands of her hair fluttering with her movements as she relaxed and crossed her legs, propping one elbow onto the table and leaning her chin against her palm. Shifting until she could face her two companions, Fujiko paused at the question, contemplating it for a bit. She smiled amusedly at Hikari, waving off the apology with a shrug. "No need to worry. That wasn't all that much. It's nice to know someone who actually speaks his mind instead of keeping overly quiet." He was intriguing, that was for sure.
"I suppose I'm next, then. I hail from Japan, as you can probably tell from my name. You could call me a photographer and pianist. I enjoy taking pictures and playing the piano." To prove her point, or at least the former of the two she mentioned, Fuji produced her camera (and the case it sat within) from seemingly out of nowhere -- by now, from practice, she was an expert at hiding her camera along her person in case she wanted to snap an impromptu shot without the subject(s) knowing before it was too late. She cradled it in her right hand, a strange half-smile playing at her soft lips that held a hint of fondness in it. "Behold: my camera. I call him Doodle. And yes, he's a he. Too bad. Now pay your respects to Doodle and be nice to him." An almost mischievous grin found its way to her lips as she spoke, rather dramatically, at that. It looked like her weirder side was worming its way to the surface now. [/blockquote]

This was a bit odd. And Tabby, well she lived for odd things. She had been walking around the school yesterday, trying to get her bearings. She had to figure out where she could hang out during the school year. So far she had found a few nice places outdoors. Now she just had to find friends to share it with.
She had plucked the sign off a wall near the classrooms. As she read, she couldn't help, but shake her head. 'I'm glad you enjoying your stay, but why do you need to declare the fact that you need friends?' she wondered. She couldn't help but smile though. This is the sort of thing her friends would do for fun. Tabby found her way to her room and slept on it. She didn't get to meet her new roomate because by the time she got there the girl was fast asleep. In the end she decided she would go.
She woke up in the morning,a bit groggy but ready to go nonetheless.Well not all the way. It was 11:30.Of course she knew she would run a bit late so she didn't go too fast. She slipped on a bright orange sundress which ended to about her knees. She covered her legs up with a pair of white-and-black striped stockings. A pair of white converse adorned her feet. After fixing a black bow into her sunset colored hair she was off to the cafe.
She was slow in her walk. She was already late so why worry? She checked her watch once more and saw that she was 5 minutes late. She grinned when she finally made it to the cafe. She opened the door and grinned. "Well this is a good turnout I suppose. Nice poster by the way.The coloring was magnificant" she called out. Two boys and a girl. She tilted her head. 'Yay,more people with odd hair coloring, wonder which one is Hikari' she thought with a big grin.
